Terms of Service - Beta Testing
LessonFlow AI / Satsana LLC
Effective Date: December 2025
Welcome to LessonFlow Beta!
Thank you for helping us test LessonFlow! These Terms of Service explain how our beta testing program works and what we expect from each other.
This is a beta version - you'll encounter bugs, incomplete features, and things that change. We appreciate your patience and feedback as we build something great together.
Key Points (The TL;DR)
- You own the lesson plans you create
- Beta testing is free - no payments or subscriptions yet
- AI-generated content may contain errors - always review before using in your classroom
- We collect usage data and session recordings to improve the product
- We will NEVER sell your data to third parties
- Expect bugs - this is beta software
- Your feedback helps make LessonFlow better
1. What is Beta Testing?
You're a Beta Tester
By using LessonFlow during this beta period, you're helping us:
- Test features and find bugs
- Understand how teachers actually use the tool
- Improve the AI-generated lesson plans
- Shape the final product
What "Beta" Means
You should expect:
- Bugs, errors, and things that don't work perfectly
- Features that may change or disappear
- Occasional downtime or slow performance
- Incomplete documentation
- Changes without advance notice
We promise to:
- Fix critical bugs quickly
- Listen to your feedback
- Keep your data secure
- Be transparent about what's working and what's not
Beta Access
During beta testing:
- Access is free (no credit card required)
- We may limit the number of lesson plans you can generate while we test
- We reserve the right to add or remove beta testers as needed
- Beta access may end when we launch officially
2. Account and Access
Creating Your Account
You must:
- Be at least 18 years old
- Be an educator or education professional
- Provide accurate information (name, email)
- Keep your password secure
Account Security
You're responsible for:
- All activity under your account
- Keeping your password confidential
- Notifying us immediately if someone accesses your account without permission
We'll never ask for your password via email or phone.
3. AI-Generated Content - READ THIS CAREFULLY
LessonFlow Uses AI
We use Anthropic's Claude AI to generate lesson plans. AI is powerful but not perfect.
AI-generated content may:
- Contain factual errors or outdated information
- Suggest activities inappropriate for your students
- Misalign with your curriculum or standards
- Reference materials that don't exist or aren't available
- "Hallucinate" information that sounds right but isn't
Your Professional Responsibility
YOU must:
- Review all generated content thoroughly before classroom use
- Verify facts, standards, and accuracy
- Ensure activities are appropriate for your specific students
- Adapt content to your classroom context
- Exercise your professional judgment as an educator
Think of LessonFlow as a teaching assistant who drafts ideas - you're the professional who reviews, approves, and takes responsibility.
No Guarantees
We do NOT guarantee:
- Error-free lesson plans
- Standards alignment accuracy
- Pedagogical soundness for your context
- That lessons will work in your classroom
You are the teacher. You make the final decisions.
4. Acceptable Use
You May:
- Generate lesson plans for your own teaching
- Share feedback about what works and what doesn't
- Export and modify lesson plans for your use
- Share lesson plans with colleagues informally
- Test features and report bugs
You May NOT:
Generate lesson plans in bulk for commercial resale
- Share your account with others
- Use the service for anything illegal or harmful
- Attempt to reverse-engineer our system or AI prompts
- Input copyrighted materials you don't have rights to use
- Generate content promoting hate, violence, or discrimination
- Abuse the service or try to break it (that's our job to fix, not yours to exploit)
5. Beta Feedback and Data Collection
We Collect Your Feedback
We're actively collecting:
- Your ratings and comments on lesson plans
- Bug reports and feature suggestions
- Usage patterns (what you click, how you use features)
- Session recordings showing how you navigate the app
- What works well and what doesn't
Your feedback makes LessonFlow better for all teachers.
Analytics and Session Recordings
We use PostHog to understand how teachers use LessonFlow:
What we track:
- Pages you visit and features you use
- How long you spend on each screen
- What you click and where you get stuck
- Anonymized session recordings (screen captures of your interactions)
- Device type, browser, and general location (city/state level)
What we DON'T track:
- Your keystrokes or passwords
- Content of your lesson plan inputs (we see topics/grades but not detailed entries)
- Anything that identifies individual students
- Your personal files or browsing outside LessonFlow
Why we do this:
- Session recordings help us see where people get confused
- Analytics show us which features are useful and which aren't
- This data makes the product better for everyone
